Meet Leah Sutton:
With a career spanning Scotland, England, Australia and New Zealand, Leah Sutton is no stranger to moving both personally and professionally after four years in the commercial property industry in New Zealand. Now back in Edinburgh, she has been part of the Cullen Property team since June 2018 and is our in-house coffee expert.
Can you describe a ‘normal’ day at work?
There really is no such thing, but my main focus at the moment is project managing the change of lettings industry procedures in our office to improve our customer and client service experience.
What do you like most about your job?
Everything is different and you never know what you could encounter on any given day – I love being busy!
What is the greatest thing you have learned in your career so far?
That no matter what is thrown my way I will be able to deal with it.
Where can we find you outside of work?
Outside exploring somewhere new in Edinburgh, watching the rugby, heading to the gym or a Pilates class or out hunting for the best coffee spots.
What is your favourite thing to do in Edinburgh
Going out for brunch near our flat and trying somewhere new – ideally with good coffee. Also my husband and I like to go on big walks, whether it’s the Water of Leith or Holyrood Park.
Are you originally from Edinburgh?
It’s complicated! I’m originally from England and moved to Scotland, then to New Zealand then Australia, then back to Edinburgh, then back to New Zealand and finally back to Edinburgh and am now planning on staying here for the foreseeable future.
