Edinburgh Oktoberfest

Bavarian culture takes over Princes Street Gardens this October with the annual Edinburgh Oktoberfest. From Wednesday 11th to Sunday 15th October, visitors will receive the full, world-renowned Oktoberfest experience. From German beer and food to live music and traditional lederhosen, its sure be a great time for all involved.

Samhuinn Fire Festival

Looking for something different this Halloween? Then check out the Samhuinn Fire Festival on Tuesday 31st October at 9pm. To celebrate the Celtic New Year and beginning of winter, there will be a torch-lit performance of fire dancing, acrobatics and wild drumming. There is no fee for this event, however, donations are welcome.

Edinburgh Short Film Festival

The Edinburgh Short Film Festival is back with an exciting line-up featuring 32 UK premieres and 28 award-winning short films from around the globe. Covering a wide variety of genres from Chinese drama to Greek Sci-fi there’s something for everyone. The festival runs from Friday 27th October – Saturday 11th November at the Summerhall Arts Centre and the Filmhouse.
