What's On November/December 2018

Winter is coming and with it a plethora of festivities across the city that are sure to get everyone in the Christmas spirit. With the return of incredible light shows and an unmissable charity event, Edinburgh is once again the place to be this festive season.

Sleep in the Park

In pursuit of their goal to eradicate homelessness in Scotland, Social Bite will again be hosting their Sleep in the Park fundraiser on the 8th December. Participants will sleep rough for one night in the hope of raising enough money to make homelessness a thing of the past. As part of the event there will be musical performances from KT Tunstall, Amy MacDonald and Lulu with a number of other special guest appearances to enjoy. Having taken part in this truly eye-opening and unforgettable experience last year, we cannot recommend it enough. So why not get your friends together and raise some money for a great cause?

Christmas at the Botanics 2018

Edinburgh’s Royal Botanic Gardens may be a wonderful place to visit all year round but at Christmas they are transformed into a spectacular light trail. With over a million twinkling lights creating magical tunnels and incredible flower displays, this is the most beautiful walk in the park Edinburgh has to offer. With mulled wine and hot chocolate available and the facilities to roast your own marshmallows, we highly recommend visiting the Botanic Gardens this Christmas. Opening on Friday 23rd November, and continuing through until the 29th December, it is definitely worth booking in advance as this experience will be in high demand.
