Summer is almost here which means so are the
Edinburgh summer festivals! There is always plenty taking place across the city
in July and August, so why not have a read of our top recommendations?

Edinburgh Food Festival

George Square Gardens will once again be home to
the popular Edinburgh Food Festival. For 10 days from 19-28 July, street food
vendors, food and drink producers and culinary stars will showcase some of the
best food and drink that Scotland has to offer. From Poke Bowls to
award-winning pies make sure to go on an empty stomach!

Edinburgh Preloved Vintage Kilo

Listen up vintage and bargain lovers, make sure
to mark Saturday 13 July in the diary, Preloved Vintage Kilo is coming to the
capital! Head down to Surgeons’ Hall Museum and fill up numerous bags, with all
kilo’s costing £15 and a promise that the rails will always be fully stocked
with vintage delights. Who would want to miss out?

Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival

The annual Jazz & Blues Festival returns to
Edinburgh from 12-21 July. As one of Europe’s top 10 jazz festivals, this
is a must for any jazz fans. With plenty of performances to choose from
featuring some of the world’s best jazz and blues artists, the festival also
features a Mardi Gras and Carnival.

Edinburgh International Festival

Every August, for three weeks Edinburgh is a
cultural hub for artists and performers from all over the world, with 5
festivals running simultaneously. The Edinburgh International Festival this
year presents another jam-packed line up featuring theatre, dance, opera and
musical performances, including guests such as Stephan Fry and Ian McKellen.
