What’s On: February & March

Edinburgh always has plenty to see and do and this February is no different. First things first - it's Six Nations time! We've listed our favourite places to watch the fixtures. Plus - this month brings very special performances of the Harry Potter soundtrack and mind-boggling telepathy. There really is something happening for everyone.

Best pubs to watch the Six Nations clashes

Missed out on tickets? Fear not! There are plenty of great places to soak up the Six Nations atmosphere. We’ve narrowed it down to our favourite three, but the list really is endless:

The Murrayfield Bar & Kitchen on Roseburn Terrace is right by the stadium, so where better to absorb real rugby atmosphere whilst discussing the sport with other fans?

Teuchters on William Street is another pre- and post-game favourite. On match day, there will be less than standing room. In fact, we’d call it ‘shuffling room only’, but combined with the selection of real ales it’s worth it.

The Ghillie Dhu on Rutland Street is a Cullen Property favourite, not just because it’s right around the corner from our offices. Multiple projection screens, a dedicated #scrumfanzone, surround sound and tasty Scottish food - need we say more? Reservations necessary on match day.

RSNO at the Movies – The Music of Harry Potter

For one night only at the Usher Hall, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra will be celebrating the music of the Harry Potter movies with their own spellbinding performances of music from the franchise. This magical night of music takes place on Friday 15th March at 19.00 and tickets are still available. Those with valid student ID, or anyone 26 or younger, can enjoy the concert for as little as £9.50!

DNA: We Know What You’re Thinking

Alternative duo DNA are best known for their appearances on the 2017 series of Britain’s Got Talent. They are in Edinburgh for one night of telepathy and intrigue as they read the minds of their audience with incredible accuracy.

Following on from their 2017 TV appearances, Andrew and Darren grew their fan base on YouTube and beyond and are now showcasing their gift of mind-reading and telepathy to live audiences. Their Edinburgh performance on 26th February starts at 19.00 at The Rowan Caves on Niddry Street. To experience the spectacle for yourself book your tickets here. Prices start from £13.50.
