What's on November 2017

So you’ve seen the bonfire night fireworks but now you’re looking to get out of the cold and experience something a little different. As always, Edinburgh provides plenty of events to choose from and below are three that we think might be for you this November.

Trainspotting

Experience the theatre adaptation of the story you know and love with Renton, Begbie, Spud and Sick Boy. Running from Tuesday 14th – Saturday 18th November at the King’s Theatre, we’d recommend getting your tickets ASAP as it’s sure to be a show in high demand. Also, if you become a “friend” of the theatre you can get 20% off your tickets!

St Andrews ceilidh

Dust off your dancing shoes and celebrate St. Andrews Day on Thursday 30th November in style with a ceilidh. Traditional live music (and a bar) guarantee a great atmosphere. Held at Lauriston Hall in Edinburgh’s Old Town from 8pm till 11pm tickets cost £10 on the door or £8 if you book in advance.

Winterfest

Rebranding and returning for its third year is the Edinburgh Vegan Festival. Held on Sunday 19th November at The Roxburghe Hotel, from 10.30am – 4.30pm, the festival will feature a wide variety of stalls selling food, clothes, make-up, wines and more with everything for sale being 100% vegan friendly! So whether you are vegan or simply curious, head along for the day and try something new this November.
