Explore Hidden Door Festival

Clear your diaries for this one - Edinburgh’s Hidden Door Festival is back, showcasing some of Scotland’s best creative artists in the secret courtyard hidden behind King’s Stables Road. Taking place from Friday 27th May – Saturday 4th June, enjoy live music, art, theatre, cinema, spoken word, poetry and street food.

Get a taste of FestivALE

Join Williams Brothers, Pickering’s Gin, Thistly Cross and more at Summerhall’s beer and spirits festival, taking place on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st May. Expect craft beers, locally-made gin, indoor and outdoor bars, live music, DJ’s and tasty street food. You will also get the chance to chat to the brewers and take a tour of the distillery.

Summer Nights at the Zoo

Discover the hidden world of Edinburgh Zoo by learning about the animals, conservation and scientific work, and chatting to the zoo keepers and scientists involved in the daily running of the zoo. There will also be a fun silent disco and comedians to keep you entertained.
