The city enters festival mode with a month of music, cultural performances, fashion and food, and there is something for everyone to indulge in and enjoy. Here are our favourite picks this month:
One for the Jazz fans
The Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival is back, with shows running until Sunday 24th July. Considered one of the top ten jazz festivals in Europe, there are plenty of shows for everyone to enjoy. Keep an eye out for Edinburgh’s first jazz club loft scene at The Edinburgh City Art Centre!

Fashion in the city
Calling all you fashionistas! The Edinburgh International Fashion Festival has arrived. From Thursday 21st – Sunday 24th July, take part in masterclasses, watch models work the catwalk, visit exhibitions and listen to experts spill their fashion secrets. Now in its fifth year, this festival brings together a mix of Scottish and International fashion designers and icons to Edinburgh's most prestigious and iconic venues.

Foodies Festival
Edinburgh's much-loved food festival is back for another feast from Friday 5th - Sunday 7th August at Inverleith Park.Enjoy tasty street food, learn to bake in the cake and bake theatre, watch Chefs Adam Handling and Jacqueline O'Donnell whizz around the kitchen, or simply discover the wide range of produce on offer from local food and drink brands.
