Our Operations Director Steve has been at Cullen Property since 2003, and has 15 years’ experience in the property investment/lettings industry. Steve holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Edinburgh and an ARLA PropertyMark Level 6 Technical Award in Residential Letting & Property Management.
Originally from Leeds, Steve moved to Edinburgh 18 years ago to be with his girlfriend (now wife).
There is no typical day at the office for Steve! He says: “The variety of the role is what keeps it interesting! It can vary from flying out to the Middle East for property investor exhibitions to discussing a broken cooker in a property or even overseeing a full property refurbishment.”
When asked what the greatest thing he has learned in his career so far, Steve says: “Surround yourself with good people and encourage them to improve and learn more. Also, respect them and help when you can!”
Outside of work you can usually find Steve on the golf course or spending time with his family. We asked Steve what he enjoys most about Edinburgh: “Edinburgh is just a fab city to live and work in. It’s the eclectic mix of the history, the people, the restaurants, festivals, and the landscape of the city – how many other cities are there where you can run around an extinct volcano?
