Paul Russell, Maintenance Technician

Paul is our Maintenance Technician and joined the Cullen Property team in February. Paul has 17 years’ experience in joinery, roofing, painting and decorating, and previously worked as a janitor at George Heriot’s School for 11 years.

A typical day for Paul consists of fixing any maintenance issues in Cullen Property’s flats. Paul will collect the materials required for each day’s work and complete the jobs with efficiency. Paul says, “I love a challenge and enjoy that every day is different.”

With a love for exteme sports and the outdoors, Paul’s most embarrasing moment happened when he took his new mountainbike out for a spin: “After coliding with another cyclist head on, we both ended up falling in the Edinburgh canal, and then I had to finish my cycle to work soaking wet!”

When he’s not at work (or falling in canals) you can find Paul at home with his family, playing golf or snowboarding.
