Tom, 30, joined the team in November as our Operations Manager. Tom’s career started off in commercial banking, before moving into the property management industry in 2014 where he worked as Area Director for Scotland with another property management company in Edinburgh. Tom holds a BA (Hons) in Business Management and a Level 6 Technical Award in Residential Lettings & Property Management.
Tom’s main role is to lead the property managers in delivering high standards of service to clients and ensuring the team always meets their regulatory obligations. Tom says: “I am on-hand to support the team with any complex issues they may face as well as taking to the cobbled streets of Edinburgh to meet our clients in person!”
When asked what he enjoys most about his job, Tom says: “I enjoy the variety the industry brings to your day-to-day routine. I’m delighted that my job is something that I have a personal interest in as it gives me the opportunity to get into discussion with like-minded individuals from clients to colleagues or other professionals.”
Outside of work you can find Tom playing badminton for his club Nomads or representing Lothian further afield – he was once crowned Junior National Doubles Champion with his brother! Tom also enjoys dining at one of the city’s many restaurants such as Passorn, which he believes offers the best Thai food in Edinburgh!
