Anne joined the Cullen Property team in 2013, bringing with her over 25 years’ experience in finance. Originally from Scunthorpe, Anne lived in the Scottish Borders before moving to Dunbar in East Lothian 11 years ago.
A typical day at work for Anne consists of liaising with tenants, landlords, contractors, property managers, the accounts department and directors on all financial matters. Anne says: “There are never two days that are the same. It’s hectic, but always rewarding!”
Outside of work, you can find Anne walking in East Lothian or eating out at one of Edinburgh’s many restaurants. When asked what she loves most about Edinburgh, Anne says: “My favourite thing about Edinburgh is the amount of lovely green spaces, which is rare for a capital city. It makes me feel like a country girl, which I am at heart.”
Anne is a chartered accountant (ACCA) and holds a degree in Accountancy and Finance. This year, she hopes to gain her ARLA qualification.
We asked Anne what her New Years’ resolution is. Anne says: “Probably the same as everyone else – not to eat as much!”
