Mairi Edwards - Meet Our New Lettings Negotiator

Meet Mairi Edwards:

Mairi, 28, joined the Cullen Property team in January this year as Lettings Negotiator. Here's a bit more about Mairi and what she loves about Edinburgh.

What did you do before joining the Cullen Property team?

I was enjoying a career break but before that I was working for a letting agent in Aberdeen as a Property Manager.

How many years/months experience do you have in the property lettings/investment industry?

4 years 9months

Can you describe a ‘normal’ day at work?

Answer enquiries and queries, organise and facilitate the beginning and end of tenancies, advising on leases, marketing properties.

What do you like most about your job?

The positive team work ethos. There is no such thing as a “silly question” and there is always someone on hand to help out if need be.

What is the greatest thing you have learned in your career so far?

Everyday is a school day, so take each hurdle as a learning opportunity.

Where can we find you outside of work?

Trying not to get lost! I do split my weekends between Edinburgh and Aberdeen.

What is your favourite thing to do in Edinburgh?

I am still discovering the city and its wealth of culture and history, so this is by far and away my favourite thing right now.

Are you originally from Edinburgh?

I am from just outside Elgin in the north east, but up until January I had been living in Aberdeen for the past 10 years.
