Edinburgh Property News: Cullen Property Strengthens Management Team

Edinburgh Property News - investment and lettings specialist Cullen Property has appointed Steve Coyle as its new Managing Director.

Malcolm Warrack - Board Director

The appointment, effective on 21 May 2018, follows the retirement of co-founder and current MD Malcolm Warrack. Malcolm is stepping away from his full-time role, but will continue to support the company’s growth and development as a Board Director.

Malcolm Warrack, Cullen Property Board Director, says: “I am delighted to be handing over to Steve. He has been an integral part of the Cullen Property team and the company’s growth since joining us in 2003.”

“As Operations Director he has played a key role in developing our client and property portfolio as well as helping position Cullen Property as a leading Edinburgh-based letting agent. I look forwards to seeing the Company continue to grow and have great confidence both in the team to achieve this and in the future of the Edinburgh lettings market.”

Steve Coyle takes over role of MD

Steve Coyle, Cullen Property Managing Director, says: “I am excited to have the opportunity to head up the Cullen Property team as Managing Director.”

“Whilst we will miss Malcolm’s presence on a daily basis, his knowledge of and insight into the Edinburgh property investment market will be invaluable to our Board of Directors.”

These most recent appointments follow a period of growth which has seen Cullen Property expand its team of property managers as well as appointing Tom Corps as Operations Manager.

Earlier this year, Cullen Property co-founder and Chartered Accountant Ray Hartman, who had served as Chairman of the Board since 1998, passed on the Chairmanship title to his son Ben, a fellow accountant and ARLA member. Together with Malcolm Warrack, Ray will remain involved with the company as a Board Director.

Cullen Property specialises in residential HMO property investment and is one of Edinburgh’s leading student letting agents, currently managing circa 400 properties in Edinburgh. The Cullen Property team can source, acquire and transform a dated spacious Edinburgh property into a modern HMO licensed accommodation in prime city centre locations ready for letting to either students or young professionals.
